Aaron Rodgers Can Surpass Three NFL Legends While Playing the Rams on Saturday

Matt LaFleur’s Green Bay Packers started their Divisional Round Playoff against Los Angeles Rams as favorites. They secured the top seed in the NFC after ending the regular season with a 13-3 record. They were crowned NFC North champions yet again, with quarterback Aaron Rodgers in top form.
The Packers started on an offensive note in front of home fans at Lambeau Field today. But they were given a tough time on the opening drive by the Rams defense featuring All-Pro DT Aaron Donald.

However, it was Rodgers who helped the Packers to the first touchdown of the game with a smart pass to none other than his trusted wideout, Davante Adams.

Aaron Rodgers edges past Peyton Manning for new NFL milestone
After a slow start to the first quarter, Aaron Rodgers gave the Packers a lead early in the second quarter with a smart touchdown pass to Adams.
This was his 41st touchdown pass in the NFL Playoffs. In doing so, he overtook the legendary Peyton Manning to take 4th on the all-time postseason passing touchdown list.

The 37-year-old veteran can improve on that number and climb higher on the list tonight itself. Brett Favre (44) and Joe Montana (45) will be watching closely as Rodgers aims to overshadow them as the greatest quarterback in NFL history. He has already eclipsed the former for another Packers postseason passing record.

The swashbuckling quarterback ended the regular season with 4,299 passing yards and a mammoth 48 touchdowns against just 5 interceptions. That feat, in itself, is an achievement.

He is definitely a frontrunner for this year’s NFL MVP award followed by Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes. You never know, we might just see these two quarterbacks go up against each other in this year’s Super Bowl LV. Fingers crossed!
