Patrick Mahomes Shares his First Memory of Tom Brady

Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady are set to clash on the biggest stage of the NFL. Mahomes and the Chiefs travel to Raymond James Stadium to take on Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in what is being described as the clash of generations.

Mahomes and Brady are two excellent quarterbacks who are on the opposite ends of their career clock but are still matching each other.

Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady sat down for a joint interview. When asked about his first memory of Brady, Mahomes shared the iconic picture of Brady holding the Super Bowl trophy and screaming with excitement.

Mahomes further praised Brady for how much he had done for the sport and how he’s only aged like fine wine, getting better with each passing day.

He said, “I remember, I think the first one I remember is when he’s grabbing the trophy, he’s throwing it up, and he’s screaming. Just the excitement. It’s been forever.

“Like we were talking about a bit before, it seems like every single year, he’s just getting better. It truly is amazing to watch, and it’s amazing to go up against because you know you’re going up against the best.”

Mahomes, on the other hand, has enjoyed remarkable success over the course of his short stint in the NFL. In just a few years, Mahomes has won a league MVP title, a Super Bowl, and a Super Bowl MVP.

The world of football dubbed Mahomes the successor to Tom Brady’s throne. But can he usurp the king come Super Bowl Sunday?
