With the two battling in the octagon again, even ex-NFL players have become heavily invested. With the kind of history, there is in terms of the two fighters, the main event was sure to be an absolute must-watch. One such viewer came from the world of football. Ex-Denver Broncos wide receiver, Brandon Marshall. As a huge fan of the Stylebender, Marshall showcased his support for the fighter in a peculiar way.

While most supporters would send out a message or a public endorsement, Marshall took it a step further. He went on to place a huge bet on Adensanya for the fight. With a whopping six-figure bet, fans went crazy in the comments.

As the video of Brandon Marshall betting money on Adesanya went viral, fans took to the comments to mock his choice. This reaction came from the fact that Adesanya had previously suffered a loss against Pereira in 2022.

Therefore, a lot of the fans didn’t think that Marshall’s bet was a smart choice for his money. However, they couldn’t have been more wrong.

Instagram saw a lot of fans going crazy before as well as after the fight. They took to the comments of the post to react to Marshall’s bet.

All in all, fans did not expect Adesanya to win and for Marshall to earn anything. However, Adesanya went on to prove the fans wrong with his win over Pereira.

Solely, from the fans’ reaction, one would’ve thought that Marshall was wasting his money. However, Adesanya went on to prove all the fans wrong with his spectacular win over Pereira. In the process, he also made Marshall a return on his investment. It only remains to be seen how the ex-wide receiver will react to Adesanya’s win and his winnings.
