Every winner has a formula of their own. And it is definitely difficult to attain the power and athletic success that many greats have achieved. A famous television personality appeared on the podcast of the UFC commenter, Joe Rogan. While talking about athletic prowess, the American talk show host, Dr. Phil, detailed the unconventional and extreme way the best athletes train themselves.
The world’s number one podcast host often brings out the bests in people in the form of entertaining and insightful stories. Dr. Phil explained what makes an athlete a super champion. And the NFL athlete they discussed was the former leading quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys, Tony Romo.

Tony Romo played for 14 seasons with the Cowboys. Although he was eligible for the 2003 NFL draft, nothing came out of it. However, Romo signed as an undrafted free agent with the Cowboys in 2003. Initially, he started out as the backup QB of the team. But later became the lead passer from 2005 to 2015. He has the highest career passing rate (97.1) and is the only quarterback who has not won a Super Bowl ring.
While Dr. Phil states how hard Romo worked to become the fabulous shot-caller, the controversial host relates it to other highly successful athletes. He stated, “That super unhealthy obsession they all share that Michael Jordan had that I mean we’ve talked about that several times on the podcast so many people that are extreme winners they’re psychotic in their obsession.”

Tony Romo not only played amazingly as the signal-caller of the team but also worked his best as the color analyst in the booth. He emerged as a champion at whatever he did. Dr. Phil thinks he is not a “swagger sort of a person” and did not have the “cocky” attitude when he came on the field.
“He would be out at one o’clock in the morning in the dome throwing a pass that that route got intercepted he got jumped on that route and you’d be trying to figure out why on Thursday in practice he saw what he needed to see why didn’t he see it on Sunday.” Said Dr. Phil.
