Rams defensive tackle, Aaron Donald, can pack a punch or two. The power star is in a good shape without any external help. Donald hit the weight room on Wednesday with XXXTentacion’s ‘Look At Me’. Interestingly, he pressed 495 pounds, much to the amazement of the fans. Notably, Rams #99 did not seek any external help. 

It reminded many fans of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s astounding 500-pound bench record. Arnold’s 500-lb bench press is the best in the celebrity records, according to the Barbell. Rams fans can feel happy that their star is in perfect shape during his contract holdout.

Aaron Donald and his secret to fitness

One of the NFL’s strongest and fittest stars, Aaron Donald, relies heavily on a carb and fat-heavy diet. Interestingly, Donald defies the standard norm that high-protein diets are necessary to achieve significant results. The experienced defensive lineman helped the Rams win two Super Bowls in three seasons. Currently, he is the only active player with three ‘Defensive Player of the Year’ awards in his name.

According to the Rams’ public relations department, Donald’s diet consists of 30 per cent fats, 50 per cent carbs, and 20 per cent protein. The superstar consumes 164 grams of fat, 616 grams of carbs, and 245 grams of protein in a day to achieve his 5,000-calorie intake.

During the meeting, Donald recalled the role of his father, who inspired him to lift weights. His father used to train in the basement while the young Donald used to look at him in admiration.

A fitness enthusiast, Wilson, lifts four days each week. The star player hits the gym five days a week. He focuses on muscle gain and endurance. Russell Wilson has emphasized the role of fitness in his game.

Notably, Donald’s intake of a 245-gram protein diet is equivalent to six cups of chicken meat, 12 Jamba Juice protein smoothies, and 30 glasses of milk. Aaron Donald is setting new standards of fitness levels in his own unique way.
