Who Is Jack Eichel’s Father, Bob Eichel?

No drama. No stressful situation in school. So it’s surprising that the kid used to work out four times a day. He felt guilty on holidays for not being able to get into the gym and daily drove hours out of his way to find a rink or weight room that might still be open.

If you ask Eichel where that drive came from, he will tell you that it was from his parents. “I definitely got my work ethic from them. They’ve always worked hard and taken pride in that, and that really rubbed off on me,” Eichel said as per Bleacher Report.

Bob had instilled discipline into his son early on, especially due to his own job. He manages the Lowell warehouse of F.W. Webb, a plumbing company, which means waking up at 4 a.m. alongside his wife, Anne. Their hard work has paid off, and their son is logging more ice time than any other rookie forward in the NHL while making five figures shy of $1 million.

Who Is Jack Eichel’s Mother, Anne Eichel?

Jack Eichel’s mother is the calming presence in his life and taught him how to work under pressure—she is a nurse after all. She supported him through all his goals and ambitions.

Jack started ice hockey when he was just 4. His father and mother took him to the local ice rink, and that was it. He never looked back. Anne and Bob policed his mini-stick hockey career at age 3 in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts, northwest of Boston.

What Is Jack Eichel’s Parents Ethnicity and Nationality?

Jack and his family are American, and he was born in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts. He is caucasian and is a prominent NHL star known for his career with the Buffalo Sabres.

He spent his childhood playing hockey and was surrounded by hockey. He began playing hockey when he was 3 and would practice with his father on a frozen pond, as many children who grow up in the cold do. By 13, he had joined the Junior Bruins, which is an elite youth program, and then moved to Michigan to play with the USA Hockey National Team Development Program (USNTDP). And the rest is history.

How Has Jack Eichel’s Family Supported His Career?

Jack had always been supported by his parents and siblings when it came to his career. His passion was encouraged by his parents, and they were instrumental in his progress. He too returned this support by helping his mother and fellow nurses by donating 100,000 medical masks and $250,000 to community service organizations. Today, Jack is a byproduct of his parents and has turned into an amazing player and person because of them.

The family home has a basement where little Jack fired several pucks against the cement wall that still has the indents to prove it. This is still the home where Bob and Anne live, and there are no plans to move out to the more highfalutin’ areas like the “other” Chelmsford.

“They don’t want me to buy them a house or anything,” Eichel said. “Buy them dinner or fly them out to Buffalo once in a while—that’s about it. They’re real simple people, and that’s what makes them special.”This is why Jack is so successful, and despite the fame, he is humble.
