Nick Kyrgios has launched a great initiative with his charity ahead of the 2021 Australian Open. The NK Foundation has partnered with food producer, Old El Paso, to provide up to 25,000 meal kits to the vulnerable people of Australia. They will donate the meal kits to Foodbank Australia, which is the country’s largest hunger-relief organization.
Through an Instagram video, Kyrgios announced the #MakeSomeNoiseforAustralia campaign to raise awareness for the good cause. To put things in perspective, 100 Mex-meal kits will be donated to Foodbank Australia each time an Australian player hits the court during the Australian Open.

Interestingly, the donation will be tripled each time an Aussie player wins. To mobilize the public, Kyrgios has appealed to the people to share his video on their Instagram story by tagging @oldelpasoaustralia using #MakeSomeNoiseForAustralia and has promised to donate 1 Meal Kit for each share.
In the video, Kyrgios has united with fellow Australian players Alex De Minaur, Sam Stosur, Matt Ebden, and Daria Gavrilova to make the campaign go viral on social media.

“Over the summer of tennis in Melbourne we’ll donate 100 Mex-meal kits to @foodbankaus for every time an Australian pro hits the court, and TRIPLE that donation every time they win! Wanna get involved and make some noise for good? Too easy… simply share this video on your IG Story tagging @oldelpasoaustralia using #MakeSomeNoiseForAustralia and we will donate +1 extra meal kit,” wrote Kyrgios.
Notably, this the second time Kyrgios’ foundation has partnered with Old El Paso. Last year in November, Kyrgios launched the #MessFreeChallenge and donated 10,000 Mexican meal kits to help disadvantaged families.
