Richardson finished last in the 100-meter race

Even though she spoke about using cannabis to deal with her mother’s untimely death, it was still not an excuse for the talented athlete. Having received widespread support for the injustice towards her by the committee, Richardson hyped the race in Oregon, as it was her comeback trail. But things went south for the girl born in Dallas.

The race finished with Elaine Thompson-Herah taking the gold medal after setting a time of 10.54 seconds. Elaine came 0.05 seconds close to Florence Griffith Joyner’s long-standing 100-meter record. Likewise, the Tokyo Olympic silver medalist, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, finished second as a repeat of the Olympic Games happened in Oregon.
