The bond between an equestrian and their horse is so strong, that it’s like a lifelong friendship where they have each other’s back. In order to develop that bond, empathy, and kindness from the rider’s side, are of utmost importance, something that might take the duo to glorious heights. Serving as an exemplar of this belief, this particular trainer took the blame on herself after she fell off her horse while failing a landing. It was delightfully surprising for the onlookers.

A female horserider put up a TikTok video where she is trying showjumping in an outwardly grassy area, whose location wasn’t disclosed. After she fell during one jump, she was more than kind and polite about it with her horse.

The equestrian care too deeply about her horse

A TikTok account by the name Paradox Farm Sporthorses just shared a video where this female equestrian was riding her horse, and jumping intermittently at the obstacles laden on the surface. The post in TikTok read, “You ever just fall off landing from a jump? Solid reminder to keep my shoulders back I guess. Huey was so confused why we stopped halfway through the course… and I never got that crop back”.

The video too started with the caption, “POV: Falling off my perfect horse and sounding like a drunk college girl”. Even here, she was proud of her horse and called him “perfect”. Her humor was also not lost on her despite the fall, which although innocuous, could’ve very well been a devastating one like 22-year-old Izzy Palmer, who suffered a freak accident while on her ride and was left unconscious.

In the video, the ride starts off well with the camera mounted on the rider. Thus, giving the viewers a POV approach to whatever is happening. The horse, named Huey, was galloping along well, jumping the occasional log fences pretty easily. It wasn’t until one of them placed slightly on a downward slope, knocked Huey and he fell to the ground.

She took the blame upon herself

The camera didn’t show the horse after the fall, and neither did it show the face of the rider. But they lay there for a while after falling, and by the looks of it, it seemed there were no ghastly injuries to either. Moments later when people nearby enquired, she said, “Yeah I’m fine”. The rider repeated that two more times. But when they enquired her if she was hit by her horse, she fiercely defend her horse saying, “He was being so good. No, no, he was so good”.

She also said, “It was my fault. I was not expecting that”. She was more than humble and kind. The incident took place in the lush green exteriors of Stable View Farm, Aiken County, and presumably, besides maybe a niggle or such, the rider and the ride are both fine.
