Everton warmly welcomed their Olympic champion, Richarlison, back to the club. He returned to training after winning a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
Richarlison de Andrade, also famously known as Richarlison, is a Brazilian professional footballer. He’s a striker for Premier League club Everton and the Brazilian national team. The 24-year-old also played at the Copa America for Brazil.

An incredible feat by Richarlison over Germany
The young Brazilian forward made history at the Olympics. Apparently, he become the first-ever Premier League player to score a hat-trick at the Olympic Games. Consequently, Richarlison carved his name into the record books. With the 24-year-old achieving what no other top-flight star has managed before him, he seems to raise the bar higher as he proceeds in his career.

Under 30 minutes, Richarlison created magic on the field! First, he broke the deadlock for Brazil against Germany within seven minutes, before doubling that lead 22 minutes in. His hat-trick was ultimately achieved as the South American nation ran riot against European opposition smoothly.

Everton gives a warm welcome to Richarlison post-Tokyo Olympics
After coming back from a successful run at the Tokyo Olympics, his teammates showered him with praise and affection.
Everton, the football club he’s a part of, made the occasion even more special. They all gathered around him along with a flag that has his name written on it, along with a picture of his face wearing a gold Olympic medal.

Richarlison’s journey in international football

Looking into his career in international football, he made his debut for the Selecao back in September 2018. His goal statistics are also quite impressive. With the target rate found on 10 occasions in 32 appearances, the Brazilian has immense potential to the sky’s limit.
Richarlison became part of Brazil’s squad at this summer’s Copa America, where the defending champions finished as runners-up to Lionel Messi and Argentina. It was during that tournament wherein he was selected to be a part of the Olympic squad. He is now going after the glory of achieving gold, with an aim to become one of the most decorated athletes in the history of football.
