“Finally, to get to this point that Carson has been dreaming about, and it’s happening, it was just kind of an out-of-body experience,” father Jim Foster said.

Carson not only carries his parents’ support but also the legacy of his swimmer siblings. “My mom and my dad have such a great balance and perspective with swimming,” he said to Webster Kirkwood Times. “My dad is one of our biggest fans. He’ll travel anywhere in the world. Every single international meet, my dad has been there. My mom is kind of at the other end of the spectrum, making sure we knew how loved we were outside of swimming.”

Who Is Carson Foster’s Mother, Michelle Foster?
Carson’s mother is Michelle Foster, and she is instrumental in coordinating early swim lessons and family schedules alongside her husband.
She has been the biggest emotional support during Trials and Eurovision summation in Cincinnati. She is originally from Ohio and loves all three of her children and supported them in their swimming careers.
She also admitted to being stressed over Carson’s Olympic trials. After all, she is a mother, and seeing him in the gruelling training and then the D Day must have been hard. “I do struggle watching the races,” Michelle Foster said to WLWT. “I think at the last Olympic trials, I watched one of the races. I just did laps around the outside.”

The Foster family is White American, rooted in Cincinnati/Mason, Ohio. They have a strong local swimming presence via the Mason Manta Rays club.

Who Are Carson Foster’s Siblings?
Carson’s older siblings, Jake Foster and Hannah Foster, are Carson’s older sibling swimmers.

Both swam competitively with Mason Manta Rays; Jake at UT, Hannah instrumental in sparking family interest.
In Paris, Jake’s emotional reaction illustrated strong brotherly support when Carson won. Hannah Foster was the first of her siblings to become a swimming star. “We grew up playing other sports, but (Hannah) was on the swim team and we got dragged along,” Jake said to The Daily Texan.
After that, he and his brother Jake competed in swimming as well, but it was always a healthy competition. The Foster brothers had realized that they both performed better when training together.“The competition we have between each other is healthy,” Jake said. “If we did not have each other to push each other, I don’t think that we would be at the level that we are with swimming. The competition was one of the big reasons why we both ended up coming to Texas,” he expressed.
