Zebaztian “The Bandit” Kadestam has participated in a couple of thrilling fights in ONE Championship, and he expects another high-paced battle when he faces Roberto “Robocop” Soldic on May 5.
The Swede striking beast is known for his aggressive nature, oftentimes making it an absolute slugfest inside the Circle. Though he’s feeling confident of his chances against the Croatian superstar at ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III, he expects his foe to bring a similar game – one which could perhaps lead him to a defeat at Denver, Colorado, next month.

Zebaztian Kadestam predicted a KO and was confident about being the one delivering it
He, however, is game to trade strike-for-strike against the knockout machine from Europe, whatever the consequences may be. The Legacy Gym and Pancrase Gym Sweden athlete told ONE, “It’s got to be by KO. Anything else is not enough. I’m giving this fight zero percent chance of going the distance. Somebody has to sleep, and to be honest if it’s a good fight and it has to be me, I don’t give a f***.”

His ruthless style has seen him win all of his fights inside the Circle by knockout, and though it has also meant he’s been on the receiving end of some unfortunate losses, Kadestam doesn’t think it’ll affect his confidence at all.
After slumping to three back-to-back losses against Kiamrian “Brazen” Abbasov, Gadzhimurad Abdulaev, and Murad Ramazanov, the 32-year-old returned with two first-round finishes over first-class opponents.

Zebaztian Kadestam wanted to become the best after beating the best
Both of those men were knockout specialists themselves. And because of that “The Bandit” isn’t going to take a step back when Soldic enters the pocket looking to make a statement with his truck-like fists at ONE’s on-ground U.S. debut card in May.
Kadestam added, “I expect him to try and knock my head off my body and kick it to another planet. I expect it and I look forward to it.”
