Ian Poulter Trolls Lando Norris With a Cheeky Twitter Post

Lando Norris is one of the most acclaimed drivers in Formula One. The Englishman has honed his skills ever since making his debut in 2019 and is now a major challenger with his McLaren ‘MCL35M.’ However, Norris’ skills are confined to the racing track as his compatriot Ian Poulter trolled him after a failed trick with a golf club.

Ian Poulter is currently not a part of the field at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. The veteran golfer is currently enjoying his brief time away from the tour, and he poked fun at Lando Norris with a recent tweet.

Norris uploaded a hilarious video where he can be seen hitting himself on the face with a golf club. The 21-year-old F1 driver met with the disaster when he attempted to catch the club using a trick. Unfortunately, it backfired.

Ian Poulter then tagged Lando Norris in a tweet and poked fun at him by posting an ‘Expectation vs Reality’ video. In the clip, Poulter can be seen perfecting the trick that caught Norris sharply on his left eye!

Poulter surely won the online battle with this tweet. While one can trust Norris to respond, it will be nothing more than a friendly banter between a couple of compatriots!

Ian Poulter has also driven in an F1 race!

Ian Poulter is a professional golfer, but his interests in the world of sport expand beyond it. Poulter is a huge fan of soccer and also Formula One. The 45-year-old had his dream fulfilled when he participated in an F1 race back in May 2020!

But do not ponder too much! It was a virtual race and a number of European athletes took part in the F1 Virtual Spanish Grand Prix along with Ian Poulter. While a mix of F1 drivers took part in the race, soccer stars Sergio Aguero and Thibaut Courtois also sat behind the wheel.

Ian Poulter’s interest in the world of F1 is just ever-growing. Of course, motorsport is thrilling to watch and Poulter is a big fan of the dazzling Formula One cars that are a work of pure art combined with science!
