Rafael Nadal Sends Sebastian Korda A Priceless Gift After Defeating Him At French Open 2020

The master and the disciple collided in the fourth round of the French Open 2020. Rafael Nadal faced Sebastian Korda of the United States at the Philippe Chatrier court.
Korda, who is a staunch follower of Nadal, was very excited for this clash against the Spaniard. Even though he lost the match, he gave his everything and posed some difficulties for the 12 time French Open Champion.
However, the three-set match was an overall cakewalk for the former World number 1. Even though the 6-1, 6-1, 6-2 scoreline indicates a very strong Nadal toying with a youngster from the United States, Korda put up a spectacular rally of shots.

He even broke Rafa’s service to go a game up in the final set. However, the Spaniard was too strong for the twenty-year-old to handle at the French Open 2020.
The best moment for the youngster was after the match. Being a huge fan of Nadal, playing against him was a dream come true for him. However, he couldn’t stop himself from asking for an autograph from his idol.
Rafael Nadal understands this phase of growing up. Once upon a time, he was where Sebastian stands now. Rafa decided to write a short message along with his signature for the youngster.

The autograph meant a lot to Sebastian, and he’d be remembering this moment throughout his life.
“It was definitely the best moment of my life, super awesome. I think after the match I asked him for a signed shirt when we were tapping rackets. I don’t know if anyone’s ever asked him for an autograph after a match, but that was definitely the coolest moment of my life,” Korda stated.

The 12 time French Open 2020 winner is accelerating towards his 13th title and his form is scary for his opponents. His quick movement across the court along with lethal services and deadly returns have been doing the job for him.
