Formula One fans can now slowly come out of hibernation, and it is all thanks to Red Bull. The Austrian team has become the last team to set a launch date to showcase its 2020 beast.
Red Bull advisor Dr. Helmut Marko revealed that the new car will complete a shake down at the Silverstone circuit on 12 February. So, it is largely understood that the new car will be launched on the same day.
Last year, Red Bull began their maiden season with the Honda engines and impressed a lot. However they refused to rest on their laurels and both factions continued to develop the car and the power unit respectively.

Will the Red Bull duo charge in 2020?
Admittedly, it took until the Austrian Grand Prix for the team to hit the ground running. In addition to that, they only discovered their winning combination when they swapped out a misfiring Pierre Gasly for Alexander Albon.
Though the 2019 season witnessed many improvements, 2020 is a blank slate and a change to capitalise on the good form. The RB15 definitely had its moments, but the team unleashed its full potential too late.

For their part, Honda drew first blood when they committed to F1 post-2020. Even though it was just for a single season, Marko is confident that 2019âs success and Max Verstappenâs new deal should make the decision easier.
There will be several important things for Red Bull to bear in mind. First and foremost, Mercedes and Ferrari have been anything but idle. If the Austrian team wish to break Mercedesâ streak and keep Ferrari at bay, the 2020 Formula 1 car must hold all the answers.
