A day ago, the Australian GP concluded with Valtteri Bottas triumphing over teammate Lewis Hamilton. However, there was contrasting fortune for local hero Daniel Ricciardo in his Renault. The Perth-born driver clobbered a drain right at the start and was forced to retire much later.

Afterwards, in the media area, Ricciardo was talking about the race but was a little distracted. As it turns out, another interview was going on next to him, conducted by journalist Jennie Gow. The 29-year old cheekily muttered for Gow to ‘shut the f*ck up’, and the video nearly went viral.

Later on Instagram, Gow posted an image on Instagram saying that contrary to Ricciardo’s declaration, he still liked her. Gow is an F1 Presenter and reporter who works for media giants, BBC.

Melbourne may not have been the result that Ricciardo wanted but he will surely bounce back in Bahrain in two weeks’ time.
