During the pre-season Barcelona test, RoKit Williams driver Robert Kubica proved that he has a big heart. The Polish driver made a blind fan’s day an unforgettable one when he met young Julie.
Inspite of her disability, Julie still has plenty of hobbies that interest her and Formula One is one of her passions. In a trip sponsored by PKN Orlen, Julie was flown to Barcelona during the pre-season test. She took some time away to see the sights in the city and thoroughly enjoyed herself. But the best was yet to come for young Julie.

Robert Kubica himself came out to meet the girl and talk to her. There was also an amusing moment during the interaction. Knowing that she is blind, he highlighted certain physical characteristics that would make him instantly recognisable.
He revealed two major physical traits of his, namely his arm, which has never been the same ever since his accident back in 2011. He also pointed out his nose, which happens to be quite big, the two shared a laugh when she went to touch his nose.
