The former Manchester United icon spoke about United’s title chances after the arrival of Ronaldo.

He is greedy. Obviously, we put him up there with Messi. These guys, they are winners, they are born-winners, and they don’t want to relax.”

The midfield remains the weak link for the Red Devils. Fred and McTominay are not good enough to lead United to another title. Their need for a defensive midfielder is clear for anyone to see.

Like the great SAF once said: “Attack wins you games, defense wins you titles.”
