Seth Rollins battles it out with one of the best wrestlers to defend his Universal Title on RAW

It was last night when Seth Rollins stomped Lesnar’s face to the ground till he could pin him for the 3 counts and win back his WWE Universal title at SummerSlam. Tonight on Monday Night RAW the new Universal champion, Seth Rollins came into the ring with his title to kick off the night. And after the end of the segment, we have a match between two of the best wrestlers of our generation.

As Rollins was sharing his thoughts with the fans in the arena, Aj Styles’s music hits and Styles comes with his buddies from Japan, Carl Anderson, and Luke Gallows. Styles congratulated Rollins on the win at SummerSlam and then issues a challenge for the same title. There was no way Seth had recovered after the brutal match he went through with Lesnar last night. But the fighting champion he is, Seth accepted AJ’s challenge and these two were set to fight in the main event of RAW.

The match started with Rollins hitting Styles with a fury of offenses and he also took the fight to big Luke standing outside the ring accompanying Styles. But Carl Anderson hit Rollins with a slam allowing Styles to get the upper hand. Styles kept taking advantage of Rollins’s injury from the hands of Lesnar and started to create some momentum. But Rollins was able to comeback hitting Styles with a falcon arrow.

The match had few moments of back and forth between these two fighters. But in the end, Anderson and Gallows interfered and put a beating on Rollins. While these three were punishing Rollins Ricochet came to aid of Rollins but the number game was just too much for RIcochet.

But then came the Monster among men to the ring and cleared the ring hitting two running power slam to the United States champion AJ Styles.  But all we know is we have a new challenger for the WWE Universal Title and it’s AJ Styles.
