World No. 1 Novak Djokovic has been in the form of his life this season. There has been no stopping him in the Grand Slam events, and he has won the first three of them this season. Besides, he has also overtaken archrival, Roger Federer, in holding the top spot in rankings for the most number of weeks.
At the moment, Novak Djokovic is in a similar situation as to what Serena Williams was in 2015. However, the American legend was not as bold as the Serb during that period and was avoiding questions by the media on that topic. On the contrary, Djokovic is quite vocal when he is fired by those sorts of questions.
The 20-time Major holder stated, “I remember I won 2015, I won that year US Open. I was talking to Serena. She was very emotional about everything that was going on. I can relate to what she’s been going through right now. I understand it now. Obviously, once you’re in that situation, you can really comprehend what a player goes through.”
