Jozy Altidore, among the well-known soccer (European football) players in the US, has represented his country since his teenage days for the age- group and senior national teams. In age group categories, he featured in the following competition for the USA:

• U-17 team at the 2005 FIFA U-17 World Championship
• U-20 team at the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup
• U-23 team at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

When did Sloane Stephens’ fianceè Jozy Altidore make his club football debut?

His professional club football debut came at the age of 16 with the New York Red Bulls. Two years later, he started his time in European football with Spanish club Villareal. His time there was spent on three different loans.

In 2009, Altidore then moved to the Premier League in England. After playing the entire 2009-10 season with Hull City, he spent six months with Turkish club Bursaspor on loan.

He later moved to Holland where he spent two years. He began his second stint in English football when Sunderland signed Altidore in the 2013 summer transfer window.

His one and half years with Sunderland was rather unproductive, and he came back to MLS with Toronto.

How did Sloane Stephens and Jozi Altidore fall in love?

Having grown up in Florida, both the athletes met for the first time in their childhood. Stephens and Altidore are acquainted with each other since their fifth grade. The duo, however, did not date each other (at least officially) until 2016.
