With Shaun White currently preparing for his 5th Olympic appearance, Dobrev knows how hard he has worked to achieve this feat. Hence, she is extremely proud of him as she revealed how excited she is for him.

In January, Shaun White took a last-minute decision to participate in the LAAX Open in Switzerland to maintain his ranking and improve his ratings.

This turned out to be White’s best decision as he did an impressive podium finish and came 3rd. Hence, he qualified for his 5th and last Olympics.

Notably, the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022 will kick off on 4th February and Shaun White isn’t the only one excited. This is a very exciting time for Nina Dobrev as well, who just can’t wait to root for her boyfriend.

“I am really excited for him,” Nina said. “Just to get into the Olympics at all is one of the hugest accomplishments, let alone to get in five times. I’m so excited. I’m so proud of him.”

As White will be leaving for China soon, we hope that he makes his country proud and adds another medal to his tally.

The first time Shaun White and Nina went snowboarding, White actually had no idea that she could snowboard. In fact, he was ready for her to fall!

However, White didn’t even realize when Dobrev went past him. It was later that Dobrev revealed she had actually been snowboarding since a young age.

“I actually have been snowboarding since I was really little,” said Nina. “I skied first and then I switched over to snowboarding at probably 8 or 9.”
