Cristiano Ronaldo is closing a move to Saudi Arabia as per the latest transfer rumors. It is speculated that the move is for astonishing sums. Rumors are coming from a renowned Spanish publication, Marca.

Ronaldo is without the club currently. His shocking interview with Piers Morgan made Manchester United end his contract early. He has been subject to many transfer speculations since the summer transfer window when he asked the Manchester United board to let him go. He wanted to play UEFA Champions League football. But the transfer didn’t happen in the summer.

Saudi Arabian club has made a huge offer

Al Nassr, Saudi Arabian club has made a mouth-watering offer to Cristiano Ronaldo again. It is now said that Ronaldo is ready to accept the offer and join the club once the FIFA World Cup ends. Al Nassr is a club based in the Saudi Arabian city of Riyadh and is one of the most successful clubs in Saudi history.

Details of the offer as mentioned by the Spanish publication are $200 million a year, including salary. The money will also cover some advertising agreements. The deal will be signed for two and a half years, making him earn $500 million over that period.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s current net worth is around $500 million. If he accepts the offer of $200 million from Al Nassr, he could potentially earn another $500 million as the deal will be for two and a half years. Currently, NBA legends LeBron James and Michael Jordan are in the billion-dollar club.

The speculations were that there could be offers from MLS too. However, the offer from Saudi Arabia is almost unmatchable by those clubs as things stand. Additionally, Ronaldo has made up his mind to accept the offer as per rumors.
