Hence, the German giants will not want any more drama and controversy as they are chasing multiple titles this season. They are the best team in Germany in terms of trophies. In recent days, the Bayern Munich players and managers have been under a lot of pressure. This is after their shocking loss in the German cup against third-tier club FC Saarbrücken in the last minute of the game. Later, club legends Lothar Matthaus and  Dietmar Hamann criticized Thomas Tuchel for the poor performance. Tuchel hit back at criticism post the demolition of Dortmund saying, “I’ve been asked about Didi Hamann and Lothar Matthäus every week. I don’t want to stand in the middle and keep making comments. Today (yesterday) was the day to finally say it. I won’t go into it any further. At some point, it’s enough. I have enough to do in my job”.

Now, Analyst Jan Åge Fjørtoft has given his opinion on the matter. He said, “This is FC Hollywood. I love that that is what can only happen in Germany. The thing is, I’ve been discussing this with a lot of my German journalist friends today. They say yeah, but a coach can’t say that after a 4-nil. So when is a coach supposed to say anything against us, and we’re talking about us now, when are they supposed to do that? “

Bayern Munich ownership likely to back Thomas Tuchel

The German giants are finally getting their old groove back under Tuchel. They only managed to win the Bundesliga on the last day. It also happened as Tuchel encouraged his players in the title fight this season. Hence, players at the moment are doing well under his coaching. They are also unbeaten so far in their Champions League group. Bayern is closing on the gap on first place Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga table.

Bayern Munich also needs to look at Chelsea for example. They slipped even more down the Premier League table last season after they sacked Tuchel and hired Graham Potter. Their marquee striker Harry Kane is scoring goals for fun after being signed this summer from Tottenham Hotspur. They are likely to make further investments in the January transfer window.
