Jude Bellingham has had a brilliant start to his career with Real Madrid. On top of this, he also won the Ballon d’Or Kopa Trophy after a brilliant last season with his former club Borussia Dortmund. Now, the Englishman has received acclaim from David Beckham, who appreciated the youngster for his win.

The Real Madrid star is also likely to play for club and country for a decade or more, but nothing can be said for sure in soccer. If injuries or mishaps do not hinder his career, his form presents a strong case for the possibility of a Ballon d’Or trophy in the future.

All eyes were on Lionel Messi as he won his 8th Ballon d”Or. However, amid all this excitement, the Ballon d’Or Kopa trophy also got a deserved winner. Real Madrid and England international midfielder Jude Bellingham won the award. The Kopa trophy is given to the best player of the year who is under the age of 21.

Responding to his win, David Beckham posted a congratulatory message on his Instagram story, “Proud moment for Jude and his family.” Bellingham beat the likes of Jamal Musiala and Pedri to win the prestigious trophy. Notably, he also managed to finish 18th for the Ballon d”Or trophy.

Jude Bellingham is in the form of his life

Real Madrid are flying this season in the La Liga and Champions League because of Jude Bellingham. The England international has scored 13 goals in 13 games for the Los Blancos in all competitions. He also inspired the England national team to a 3-1 win against Italy in the Euro qualifiers. Many soccer fans and experts have also urged England manager Gareth Southgate to build the team around Bellingham for the future World Cups and Euros.

The midfielder has also the golden opportunity to make his case for this year’s Ballon d’Or trophy. He has the Euros coming up and Real Madrid is also likely to go ahead in the knockout stage of the UCL. If he manages to help Madrid win the league and Champions League and also helps England win the Euros trophy, he will surely finish higher than this year’s 18th rank.
