Cristiano Ronaldo has established his place as one of the world’s highest-earning athletes estimated at $500 million. Besides his on-field achievements, Ronaldo is also a successful business owner. However, the Portuguese star’s latest business venture has backfired.

After investing over $10 million, Ronaldo became a big face of Ursu9. Ursu9 has been accused of all its false claims and non-existent benefits. Interestingly, Ursu9 is claimed to contain a high level of alkaline, antioxidant, and mineral, which provides medicinal effects.

However, El Comidista, a branch of the Spanish newspaper, warned consumers about the nonexistent benefits of Ursu9. Furthermore, it reported that there’s no scientific study or evidence that proves the medicinal effects of alkaline water. The branch also revealed that the antioxidant level of the water is close to zero.

After the reports of El Comidista, Ronaldo has been surrounded by several allegations. Not to mention, the Portuguese star could lose his $10 million investment in the dust.
