Al Nassr after a long time is sensing a chance to dominate soccer in Saudi thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival. The Portuguese captain paved the way for the club and the league to upgrade in such a way that most of the world envies them. But despite his commitment to the club, recent rumors about his uncertain future at Riyadh and links to his rival’s club got the fans on the edge. However, the doubts have now been clarified with a recent update about the Portuguese captain’s contract.

One thing that Al Nassr cannot tolerate now is the absence of its captain. Reports confirm that Ronaldo is going nowhere but continuing with the club in yellow until the end of his contract.  According to journalist Ahmed A-Jadi, Ronaldo will stay until he completes his tenure in the summer of 2025. With this, Al Nassr buried all rumors about other clubs hunting the star.

There were a few doubts about whether the Portuguese captain would gain interest from many clubs when given an opportunity. Recent rumors suggested that David Beckham’s Inter Miami was interested in acquiring Ronaldo. A segment of soccer fans would love to see that happen so that CR7 can play alongside his nemesis Lionel Messi. The two giants have notched up more than 1700 goals in soccer fighting for the GOAT tag but have never played together. But with the latest report settling the dust, it seems they were just gossips and that will only be a distant dream.

Meanwhile, the good news for Al Nassr is the skipper will continue his mojo and try to take the club to another level. Ronaldo has quite a few tasks to complete as Al Nassr has fallen short of a few targets. With his recent exploits, the striker looks well to achieve them.

What Cristiano Ronaldo has done this season is nothing less than outstanding. Despite suffering controversial bans and injuries, the former Real Madrid player has scored 41 goals in 40 games. Moreover, Ronaldo also scored 4 hat tricks his recent one coming against Al Wahda in a league game. Despite being on and off the field Ronaldo’s consistency brings hope to Al Nassr’s next season. It could be because Ronaldo has given his word to Al Nassr that he will not be done unless he wins multiple trophies for the Knights of Najd.

Meanwhile, the club has missed out on the AFC Champions League and the Saudi League also looks impossible this season. Al Nassr is looking at a few management changes in the upcoming season to enhance their overall results. But their biggest success will be holding on to their superstar who can win them title next season.
