Al Nassr Snubs Plans of Dismantling Cristiano Ronaldo-Talisca Duo Despite Offer From 5 European Clubs

In an interesting turn of things for Al Nassr. Once leveraging the European markets, the Saudi Pro League giant is now on the verge of transferring big players in the market, with the club keeps receiving quite a few offers from European clubs recently. However, given their current form, the Riyadh-based club has opted to be stable by keeping their heroic duo Cristiano Ronaldo and Anderson Talisca. The club seems to have denied multiple offers from Europe, but the player has a lot to offer yet.

Al Nassr, after signing Cristiano Ronaldo for more than $200 million, is only focused on strengthening the squad. The club will shun any attempts that could hinder their prospects, as the team has been in tremendous form this season. And who else but Ronaldo and Talisca to be their main weapons to glory!

The club recently faced a scare after receiving offers from five European clubs for a Brazilian striker. However, it did not take any contemplation for the team to reject the offers outright, according to reports. And rightly so as Talisca has some incredible numbers this season being their second-best player with 20 goals and 4 assists.

Additionally, his partnership with Ronaldo has been immaculate this season. Both players have scored 44 goals together, which is more than 50 percent of the club’s total goals this season. The duo’s contribution to each other involves two goals assisted by Talisca and three by Ronaldo this season.

The team made a very strong comeback after a scary start to the season with 2 losses. The team in yellow helped by the duo went on an impressive 20-game unbeaten streak earlier. Nevertheless, Al Nassr’s duo has a huge rest of the season to finish.

A lot at stake for Al Nassr in the 2023–24 season

The club in yellow is fighting for one of their most successful seasons yet. The team hasn’t won a single AFC Champions League title in its history. However, the team has eased through the knockouts convincingly, being undefeated in the group stage this season. Talisca was their prime leader in the ACL, scoring six goals in just four games.

On the other side, the Saudi Pro League looks a bit harder, as Al Hilal is seven points clear of Al Nassr. Nonetheless, Cristiano Ronaldo would not like to give up hope, as anything can happen in the end. Before that, Al Nassr will have a club friendlies tour to China in a few days, after which they will head to the Riyadh Season Cup.
