On top of that, Saudi Arabian clubs are dominating the market and this year’s summer transfer window. Owing to Saudi Arabia’s lucrative career offer to top players, it has become an inevitable threat to the European market.

Now, fans are concerned about seeing their favorite stars leave for foreign leagues. However, it looks like Saudi clubs aren’t only interested in hiring top players anymore. Interestingly, Ronaldo’s former coach chimed in about receiving breathtaking contract deals from Saudi Arabia.

Now, the Saudi clubs have set their eye on one of the most popular and successful managers in history, Jose Mourinho.

Furthermore, several fans were excited to see Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo’s reunion. The pair spent three years together at Real Madrid between 2010 and 2013. In addition to that, both shares deep respect for each other, and the Portuguese manager even claimed training Cristiano Ronaldo as the highlight of his career.

According to  report, Mourinho has been offered a whopping £100 million to go to Saudi for two seasons. However, the Roma boss revealed on rejecting two Saudi Arabian clubs’ whopping offers to continue leading the club.

He said, “I’ve received two proposals: Al Hilal and Al-Ahli wanted me, I decided to turn both down as I want to stay at Roma.” Mourinho also informed the club owners about his decision to stay with Roma from the start.

“On the one hand, I felt like a prisoner of the word given to the players in Budapest and to the fans after Spezia, mimicking the stay. But if you ask me if I didn’t accept just for this reason, I’d answer no, not just for this,” he further added.

The Roma head coach also mentions that it’s not his final decision. Mourinho also adds he doesn’t know what the future holds for him. Besides talking about rejecting Saudi Arabian clubs’ offers, Mourinho also put an end to Paulo Dybala’s exit rumors.

Mourinho took over as manager of the Italian club at the beginning of the 2021–2022 season. With his arrival, he led the club to victory in the Europa Conference League. Unfortunately, Mourinho failed to guide the Italians to the verge of one more European glory when Sevilla defeated them in penalties.

However, the Portuguese manager is determined to make a strong comeback. Thus, he rejected the mind-boggling contract deals from Saudi clubs to lead Roma to one more glorious victory. Interestingly, in his recent interview, Mourinho talked about adding one more striker to the squad. Besides that, he also confronted his happiness with Dybala’s decision to stay with the club.

“Dybala’s release clause lapsed on August 1st. I’ve slept better since that day. He’s a high-caliber player and he’s like gold for us. We have been in trouble when he wasn’t available,” Mourinho added. He revealed Dybala’s importance and contribution to the club; moreover, he assures fans that Belotti doesn’t plan on leaving either.
