In the last few weeks, Ryan Reynolds has been in the public eye for several reasons. Firstly, he finally won an automatic promotion with Wrexham to the EFL League Two. Secondly, his never-ending attempts to take over the Ottawa Senators with the Remington group could finally bear fruit. And thirdly, his witty attempt to try and sign Gareth Bale for Wrexham next season seemingly did not work out.

Amidst all the chaos, Reynolds recently claimed that he doesn’t plan on including his family members in his business ventures.

He stated that Wrexham is his priority at the moment. However, he doesn’t plan on turning the Welsh soccer club into his family business in the future, especially when his kids grow up.

Reynolds’ response to eventually involve his kids in the Wrexham hierarchy

In a recent exclusive interaction with Entertainment Tonight, Reynolds spoke about his current responsibilities. Along with being a father of four children, the actor also needs to handle a soccer club. In response to which of them is easier, he wittingly said, “I don’t know. [At least] a soccer team will flush a toilet from time to time”.

He then jokingly admitted that he doesn’t foresee Wrexham turning into a family business. His co-owner said, “I think that Ryan and I both went into this not knowing how long we were going to be involved in it, and for right now, it feels like a lifelong endeavor. But I think it’s a big responsibility and I don’t know if my kids have earned it”.

In agreement, Reynolds added, “I don’t see that in their future”. “[They’d] have to show us something pretty remarkable to do something like that”. The two of them then revealed that Wrexham is their topmost priority. And if they ever needed to delegate their roles to someone else, it wouldn’t be their kids, as of this moment.

Other than the soccer universe, Reynolds is currently in a battle with a consortium that includes the ever-famous Snoop Dogg.

Just days ago, the iconic rapper joined a 12-man consortium namely the Sparks. This group comprises only ‘people of color’. The latest price tag for the Ottawa Senators is reportedly $1 billion. However, the Sparks group isn’t phased or surprised by the price tag. While Snoop Dogg is the latest entrant in the Ottawa Senators takeover rat race, Reynolds has been a part of it for quite a few months.

Sources have recently suggested that Reynolds is preparing a final bid worth $1 billion for the NHL team. After his immediate success with Wrexham, the NHL commissioner desperately wants the Deadpool star associated with the league. With every condition in his favor, Ryan Reynolds could be the owner of the Ottawa Senators in the coming week.
