While they eventually deleted the tweet, it was somehow shared by several news outlets and spread like wildfire. Camps’ social media activity drew widespread criticism from all corners of the globe. Today, Barcelona Vice President Rafa Yuste broke his silence on his colleague’s tweet while offering Vinicius a sincere apology. He said, “Even if it’s a mistake, it shouldn’t happen. It’s an unfortunate tweet. Vini, if you are listening to me, it won’t happen again.”

Joan Laporta believes those associated with ‘sociological madridismo’ are behind this conspiracy and have a vested interest in taking control and undermining Catalonia’s symbols. He expressed confidence in the club’s ability to win the legal case. “They attack us because we are doing well again. Sportingly and economically,” he concluded. To sum up, these are some bold claims from the Barcelona president.
