Brazilian MLS Superstar Reps a Kyrie Irving Jersey as He Destroys Opponents Turning back the years

Soccer is a big sport and the players playing the sport are always in a limelight. We have seen how Cristiano Ronaldo got the Rolls-Royce Christmas gift from her girlfriend. We have seen how Lionel Messi and other Argentinian stars have celebrated their world cup win. Even soccer stars watch other sports. We have seen how LeBron James invested millions in Liverpool and has been a big fan of many soccer stars. His weird yet interesting exchange with Zlatan Ibrahimovic is world known at this point. One Brazilian Superstar has again tried to mix the fan bases of soccer and the NBA by wearing a Kyrie Irving jersey.

Back when Zlatan Ibrahimovic moved to LA Galaxy to play for MLS. NBA king LeBron James sent him a t-shirt himself to welcome him to the club. Being the crazy guy Zlatan is, he signed the t-shirt and send it back to LeBron. Years later LeBron James would laugh remembering the event.

Brazilian star brought Kyrie Irving to soccer

In a recent clip that went viral on Instagram. Brazilian star Douglas Costa has made his fellow players look fools as he dribbled around and scored rocking a Kyrie Irving jersey. The video appeared to be taken from a training session with LA Galaxy and the star has seen showing his skills.

Not only did the star midfielder dribble around fellow players, but he also was able to score a goal. The fans in the comments went crazy as they complimented the play worthy and they could see the star-making efforts to generate the power behind that shot. Many complimented him on the play and pointed out the legacy Douglas had.

He stepped down from the national team in 2018, having played for them for only 4 years. But the midfielder had provided enough reasons to the fans who could still remember the impact Douglas used to have on the game. This may be ignored by most of the NBA community.
