When 39-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo poses shirtless at the gym, one might feel his physique is almost the same as it was during his 20s. Besides CR7’s fitness regimen, his steadfast mentality has also immensely impressed his followers. They wonder how the Portuguese star keeps fitness and mental health in balance. “The secret is out,” said Ronaldo while announcing the launch of his new wellness app ‘Erakulis’ on Wednesday. Chris Hemsworth founded his wellness app Centr in 2019. It has been a superhit ever since, with a myriad of fitness bloggers endorsing the app on social media. Centr is quite similar to Erakulis as it offers specific programs for fitness, nutrition, and mental health. However, unlike Erakulis, Centr does not feature online appointments with trainers, nutritionists, and therapists. Besides, Hemsworth’s app also does not feature audiobooks like its Cristiano Ronaldo-founded rival.
However, the Centr app comes with special meditation and visualization practices to enhance sleep. This section even includes practices designed by the Marvel star himself. Erakulis’ monthly subscription starts at $5.4 per month. Whereas, Centr’s monthly subscription starts at $10 per month. Furthermore, users can sync both Erakulis and Centr apps to their wearables. CR7 and team Erakulis will have to wait till April to see how their app competes against the already popular Centr founded by Hemsworth.
