Recently, Cristiano Ronaldo signed a contract with the Saudi soccer side, Al-Nassr. However, the figures on that deal are jaw-dropping. The Portuguese star will earn $74 million as just his base salary.

The figure will rise to $207 million when image rights, commercial deals, and his ambassador role are included. Ronaldo will play for Al-Nassr till 2025, after which he will move into an ambassadorial role to help Qatar the hosting rights for the 2030 FIFA World Cup.

Accordingly, to Forbes, Lionel Messi earns $65 million a season at Paris Saint-Germain. The Argentine is also rumored to sign a new contract extension at PSG. Messi took a huge pay cut to join PSG considering Barcelona’s financial crisis.

At the age of 24, Kylian Mbappe is making much more than Lionel Messi was. The young soccer star signed a gigantic contract extension with PSG. As per Forbes, His new deal will see him earn $110 million as base wages per season.

The deal also includes massive milestone payments if Mbappe stays at the club beyond 2023. The French youngster’s salary accounts for 19.56% of the entire team’s payroll.
