Are Al-Nassr rivals trying to stop Casemiro from reuniting with Cristiano Ronaldo? Well, striking details have emerged for a potential transfer. Casemiro transitioned to Manchester United from Real Madrid 15 months ago and swiftly left a great impression under Erik ten Hag. Unfortunately, the 31-year-old has faced a decline in performance this season. Many believed that this would lead him to Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr. However, it is not going to be easy, as the rivals of the Saudi club are on a mission to snap him up.

Ever since the Brazilian showed signs of slowing down with Manchester United, the Saudi Pro League hierarchy expressed interest in the seasoned player. Earlier, CR7’s club showed considerable interest in Casemiro, but now their rivals have also shown equal interest, and this ended up in his transfer getting more complex.

Recently, the X handle of Al Nassr Zone wrote about various options that Casemiro has in the Middle East that would change his future for the better. They wrote, “Two Saudi clubs want to sign Casemiro in the winter window.” Many speculate that Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli are the other potential clubs the Bazilian defensive midfielder can consider joining.

The 31-year-old joined Ten Hag’s Manchester United last year in August, and within a short time, he played a significant role in uplifting the team’s defensive solidity. Back then, Ten Hag was facing widespread criticism for the team’s poor performance under his management. After that, the Brazilian soccer star almost became the savior of the team as he assisted United in attaining an impressive top-four finish in the Premier League.

On top of that, he played a pivotal role in helping United win the Carabao Cup and guiding the team to an appreciable FA Cup final appearance. As Casemiro is facing a tumultuous time in his career, a move to the Middle East can help him have a fresh start. Even though he endured some grave injuries, the Middle East is ready to spend a fortune on him, as they believe he can bounce back stronger.

Back-to-back injuries that affected the Brazilian

The Brazilian star is going through a highly demanding season filled with setbacks and numerous challenges. At the beginning of October, an ankle injury prevented Casemiro from playing for his team, and he was forced to sit idle. Adding to the misery, he suffered a hamstring injury during his outing against Newcastle United. These back-to-back injuries have adversely affected the career of Casemiro, and now he would need a prolonged period of rest to get back to the field.

Casemiro’s non-availability would hurt the team, which is already struggling to showcase impressive performances. All of these make it evident that the club would readily let go of the player to earn funds for the next transfer window. As per the latest reports, along with the Brazilian, United would readily let go of Bruno Fernandes, Anthony Martial, and Raphael Varane in the upcoming summer.

Do you think that Casemiro will make his move to Saudi Arabia? If so, will he choose Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr over Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
