Shakira is enjoying vacation with an unexpected partner

Shakira has began spending her days in the Dominican Republic, a vibrant island located in the Caribbean Sea. More importantly, it was revealed that on this trip, Shakira was accompanied by Carla Pereyra, the successful model and TV host. She is also the wife of Diego Simeone, the world-renowned head coach of Atlético Madrid.

Carla Pereyra took to Instagram to share numerous photographs of her partaking in her time in the Dominican Republic. The photos uploaded by Pereyra did not feature Shakira, as the singer chose to take a step back.

Shakira was forced to leave for Miami early

Shakira had long been planning her relocation to Miami. However, her parents’ health issues significantly delayed her departure date. Finally, on April 2nd, Shakira left her house in Barcelona with her children.

It has since been reported that she received an eviction notice from ex-partner Gerard Pique’s father. The notice gave Shakira a vacate order on the property by April 30th. This forced her to make the move sooner than anticipated from a residence that had been home to Shakira, Pique, and their children during their relationship.
