According to the agreement, Juventus will send young talent to the nation who are in search of game time. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s Future Falcons program will function as a honing ground for the talent coming over from Italy.

Juventus youth executive Gianluca Pessotto commented on the partnership while addressing the media, stating how this could be a beneficial agreement for both parties. “This sports partnership will in fact open the doors, for young Saudi talents, to numerous opportunities, from intensive training sessions to friendly matches, and at the same time it will also be a great opportunity for our youngsters, who will have the chance to compete in international matches, highly formative for them.”

Things have been rough for Italian side Juventus as of late. The side is struggling financially after facing multiple charges of corruption. The side was also penalized for breaching FPP rules, with the team ordered to pay over $10 million as an initial fine. To add more to their misery, the club was accused of holding payments for some of their players.

The Portuguese superstar made a blockbuster move to Juventus, joining the side from Real Madrid in 2018. While the player had a good time with the club, the veteran abruptly left the club in 2021 to join his old side, Manchester United. A year following his transfer, Ronaldo accused Juventus of withholding payment claiming the Italian side owed him $21.2 million in unpaid wages.

Juventus was quick to deny the claims, stating that the player had signed a no-dues agreement with the side. Their answer did not sit down well with Ronaldo, who has dragged the club into a legal battle. There have been no updates on the ongoing case as of late. Both sides have presented their case in front of a court in Turin, but the decision is yet to be made.
