Lionel Messi has been in Miami for over a month now, and while he has received a warm welcome from the Miami faithful, the Argentine is still not feeling settled. Looking at the performances of the 7x Ballon d’Or winner, Messi seems to have adjusted to his new club on the pitch. But, off the pitch, he is still struggling to find a place in Miami, that he can call ‘home’.

Messi’s priority is to find a safe and secure place for him and his family away from the ‘dangers’ of Miami.

As reported by El Pais, famous journalist Javier Ceriani said that the biggest reason behind Messi’s house hunting is ‘privacy’. The Porsche Design Tower, where Messi is currently residing, is a luxury condominium building with a high-rise lobby and a glass elevator that provides views of the city. This makes it difficult for Messi to avoid unwanted attention when he arrives home.

Ceriani stated, “They still did not find the house where they want to live. They are renting. They are not happy about where to go yet and this is a problem, because he does not even want to go up to an elevator in the Porsche Tower and someone to tell him, ‘Oh, Messi!’. He wants no one other than his family to speak to him at home when he arrives.”

$600,000,000 rated Messi hired a bodyguard as well a few days ago to reinforce the safety of his family. The bodyguard is a former US Army soldier, who is trained in combat and martial arts. He doesn’t leave Messi and his family for a minute, which emphasizes the dangers of Miami for him and his family.

Messi and family in search of a ‘Super House’

Beyond the glamour and fortune of those people residing in Porsche Design Tower, surprise requests always arise in front of the Messi family when they decide to move around in the common area and markets. Due to such conditions, the Messi family would like to move to a similar house, just as they had in Barcelona and Paris.
