Flamini started his soccer journey with the French club Marseille. He moved to England in 2004 to play for the Gunners. The 38-year-old spent four seasons with Arsenal in his first spell.

He then moved to the Italian giants AC Milan, where he spent five seasons before returning to Arsenal. In his second spell, he played for the Gunners for the next three seasons before moving to Premier League rivals Crystal Palace. He was playing for the Spanish side Getafe when he retired from soccer to focus on his biochemical business.
