Zlatan Ibrahimovic is as candid as it gets. After a break from Europe, the striker enjoyed a short spell in the MLS playing for LA Galaxy for two seasons. While many soccer stars have been impressed with the country’s star culture, specifically Los Angeles, it seems Ibrahimovic is not as fond of A-Listers.

In a recent interview with television personality Piers Morgan, the former LA Galaxy superstar went all in on  celebrities who he feels carry their entourage everywhere to project an image. The Swede spent over a year and a half in the United States, where he set the stage on fire in the City of Angels.

Sweden icon, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, is known for expressing his opinions without mincing his words. During his appearance on Piers Morgan’s Uncensored, the Swede opened up on his time in the United States. The former LA Galaxy striker took a shot at American big shots for carrying their entourage everywhere to portray an image for them.

“I came to America. I saw act, no not actors I saw say, big shots make trying to make the perfect image. And I go to one of the shows and they’re like, where’s your crew? Entourage? And I’m like, what about my entourage? No, but normally, like famous people, they come with 20 people,” he said.

The Swede then added people should just be themselves, rather than have someone else make their image. “Let’s say you’re here for me, or my entourage for you. I’m here. So I don’t need them to make my image. I’m here for myself. So that’s why I say I always say Be yourself. Being perfect is being yourself.”

Zlatan changed the game off the mark as he was subbed in the 71st minute with his side trailing 3-2. However, the Swede had different plans as he levelled the game with a sensational strike in the 77th minute with a screamer from over 40 yards, as he took off his shirt to celebrate his arrival. With the game levelled and approaching its end, he pulled off a fashionably late strike in the 91st minute to seal the win for his side.

Following his historic arrival, the former AC Milan man made a total of 58 appearances for the side, finding the back of the net for a staggering 53 times while making 15 assists.
