The likes of 8-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi and renowned actor Cillian Murphy were nominated. However, the internet sensation Mr. Beast won the prestigious award. The popular YouTuber also had a hilarious reaction after winning the trophy.

Lionel Messi received multiple awards in 2023 after he won the World Cup trophy and the Ballon d’Or. But Mr. Beast got the better of the Inter Miami star to be announced as the deserved winner. And he didn’t fail to flaunt with a sensational flex!

In 2023, there is no doubt that Lionel Messi had a year to remember. He won multiple honors for his World Cup glory with Argentina. Popular actor Cillian Murphy was also praised for his sensational work in Oppenheimer. But, the movie grossed $952 million at the box office. Hence, fans expected an uphill battle between these two famous people for the Pubity Person of the Year Award 2023. However, it was a YouTube sensation, and entrepreneur Mr. Beast was announced as the winner. After they declared the award, he posted a hilarious reaction. Below the post announcing him as the winner, he wrote, “Do I get $?”

In one video titled World’s Deadliest Laser Maze!, he was seen sporting the pink Inter Miami kit. However, it was not an original kit.

Karl and Nolan, who have been part of the videos of Mr. Beast, were also seen wearing the Inter Miami shirt in a video. Many fans predicted on social media that it could be a collaboration with the MLS club.
