The sale of Manchester United has been dragging on for a long time. With fans wanting the current American billionaires, the Glazer family, to sell the club, they have received bids from all over the world. However, there are many complications in the selling process of the famous English soccer club.

One of the bidders for the club is Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al Thani. The Qatari bankers are looking to get hold of the club and bring it back to its promised land. But, as the deal slows down, Sheikh Jassim is becoming highly unlikely to own the club. Instead, the billionaires are switching their attention to other waters.

According to El Pais, reports are emerging on how a $900 million value club is attracting interest for Qatari bankers. Hence, things are looking interesting for the bidding wars.

Qatari investors switch attention from Manchester United to other clubs

After launching a fourth bid to buy Man United, there are no updates on the recent bid. Preferably, the club looks to bring in Sir Jim Ratcliffe as he is a loyal fan of the club. As the deal with United is in doubt, Sheikh Jassim is interested in buying West Ham United. Despite their Premier League season not being up to the mark, they lie in 14th position. But, the club reached the Europa Conference League final and will play against the Italian side Fiorentina.

Reports suggest the billionaire is ” beginning to assess other entry options in the Premier League.” The potential owners are impressed with the club’s stature and the stadium. With a capacity of 60,000, they regularly fill the stands with their passionate fans. As matchday income is crucial for a club’s finances, it is a sensible option for the owners, who need not spend millions on a club that looks to delay its selling process.
