Starting at the very top, El Pistolero has a tattoo on the right side of his neck. It’s nothing fancy, with the player inking his first name ‘Luis’ in a catchy calligraphy style. Another tattoo follows the ink on the opposite side of his neck. Suarez is known for his iconic celebration, with the player kissing his thumb, index finger, and middle finger to pay tribute to his wife and children. The player has taken it a step further, engraving the celebration on the left side of his neck.

Hand and Forearm Tattoos: 4

Most of El Pistolero’s inks are engraved on his arm. The player has a tribal tattoo on the right biceps. However, unlike other tattoos that hold special meaning to the player, this one was on a whim, with the player stating in interviews that he has grown bored with it. A scribble follows the tattoo on the inner side of his right arm with the names Lautaro, Benjamin, and Delfina; a reference to his three kids.

Luis Suarez is known to be very close to his wife, Sofia Balbi. El Pistolero, in a display of affection, got inked with the initial ‘B’ on his right ring finger, referencing his wife’s surname Balbi. The final tattoo is a lion’s face engraved on his left index finger. This one is also referenced to his wife, with his partner having a matching lioness tattoo on her left index finger.

Leg Tattoos of Luis Suarez: 2

Well, El Pistolero seems madly in love with his wife with his seventh tattoo, also a reference to his partner. Suarez has engraved his partner’s nickname ‘SOFI’ on the inner part of his left leg. The final tattoo is an homage to his playing career, with the player engraving one of his valuable accolades in his playing career.

The backside of his lower leg has the date “27-07-2011” inked in with the text “Campeones De America” following it in cursive. The particular tattoo is a reference to Uruguay’s Copa America triumph in 2011, which saw El Pistolero emerge as the best player of the tournament, helping his side get their hands on the title.
