Cristiano Ronaldo joined Manchester United after a few seasons with Juventus. His homecoming, however, only lasted briefly. Given that Ronaldo was going through a terrible season, he benched him in a match against Tottenham Hotspur. This decision will haunt Ronaldo’s Manchester United fan base for a long time.

Cristiano Ronaldo left the pitch even before ten Hag could sub him in. The event brought a tornado to the soccer community. But nobody was ready for what was to follow. Club soccer halted in November to make way for the Qatar FIFA WC. Fans thought a long break would help in calming this situation. Ronaldo, on the other hand, had slightly different plans.

One thing led to another and the Portuguese icon is now playing in Saudi Arabia torching Arabian clubs and winning matches single-handedly. Many people praised Erik ten Hag for his strict management, while some criticized him. A notable personality praised the Dutch coach for his management of the Ronaldo situation.
