The value addition that came with Harry Kane is precious for Bayern Munich. The English striker does not just bring goals, but falls deep and has impressive playmaking. With regards to helping other players rise, expert Kevin Hatchard feels that Leroy Sane has been one to majorly benefit from Kane’s arrival in Munich.

The former Tottenham Hotspur star has undisputedly been the best striker in Europe so far. He has scored 24 goals in 21 games in all competitions for the Bavarians. Leroy Sane, on the other end, is getting back in form after pairing with Kane.

Harry Kane and Son Heung-min’s partnership at Spurs lasted for eight years. Now, he has found Leroy Sane. The German right winger and English captain have been quite symbiotic on the pitch. And crediting this to Kane’s arrival, Hatchard feels that Sane has been impacted by Kane’s form. In a conversation on talkSPORT, he said, “If you look at Leroy Sane, he’s been playing as well as he’s ever played. And I think the big reason for that is Kane’s arrival. They’re working really well as a duo on the pitch.”

Sane has been experiencing a resurgence this season. The German is potentially having the best season of his Bayern career so far. The player scored eight goals, which is similar to what he scored in the whole of last season in the Bundesliga. But more surprisingly, Kane assisted three of those goals, excluding one in the UEFA Champions League.

On the other hand, the favor was returned by Sane, who provided five assists to Kane, all in league games. The player’s previous three seasons had 8, 7, and 6 goals, which he has already surpassed at the 14-match stage in the league. The English captain seems to be proving his coach, Thomas Tuchel, right about what he claimed earlier.

Thomas Tuchel trusts Kane to have a big impact on the team

Having a demanding nature, Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel already knew Kane’s impetus. Earlier he said, “Harry, as a personality, as a fixed point, as a character, will make the players around him better through the way he plays, through his presence.”

Kane was brought in for a whopping $100 million for a five-year contract. And the player is proving worth every penny. With many goals and assists this season, Kane is already being touted as one of the favorites for the Ballon d’Or next year.
