Harry Kane dismisses the Robert Lewandowski comparisons

The German media, after his performances, started comparing him to Robert Lewandowski. But Harry Kane has downplayed any comparisons. In an interview with Four Four Two, he said, “Robert is a legend at Bayern and one of the best strikers of our generation. He set the bar so high. It’s too early in the season for me to be talking about specific numbers. That’s not where my focus is”.

The 30-year-old will also have to make sure that he can complement the goals with trophies this season. It is because Bayern Munich is aiming for Champions League glory under Thomas Tuchel. Whereas, they are in a toe-to-toe battle with Xabi Alonso-led Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga battle.
