Has Cristiano Ronaldo undergone plastic surgery? While it is debatable, one particular plastic surgeon seems to think so. Plastic surgery is rather common amongst celebrities worldwide, whether at a young age or as they get older. But has the Portuguese soccer icon had any facial work done to enhance his looks? And what has the cost been for CR7 if he has, in fact, undergone plastic surgery procedures? Here are all the details following Doctor Gary Linkov’s YouTube video that suggests that the Al Nassr forward has gone under the knife.

Cristiano Ronaldo is now 38 and is plying his trade in Saudi Arabia for SPL club Al Nassr. CR7 joined the Saudi outfit in January 2023 after his highly publicized fallout with his former club Manchester United in 2022. But when it comes to the way he looks, Ronaldo appears to have not aged as much at all, and that has led to Dr. Gary Linkov’s assertions that suggest that Ronaldo may have had some plastic surgery done.

Ronaldo transferred from Sporting Lisbon to Manchester United in 2003 for $20.13 million. That was at the age of 18. According to Dr. Linkov’s assessment of Ronaldo’s looks since his youth, the plastic surgeon made the following observations.

While analyzing CR7’s facial structure in 2005 at the age of 20, just 2 years after his move to Manchester, Linkov says, “In 2005 at the age of 20 Cristiano has full tooth show on smiling and it’s clear that he’s had a full smile makeover. He’s had a series of veneers in place and when you compare back to 2003 and 2004 you can really see what a major transformation has occurred.”

Ronaldo then transferred to Real Madrid in 2009 for a fee close to $100 million, and Linkov suggests that the Portuguese forward had major work done corresponding to his move to the Spanish capital. Linkov says, “In 2010 at the age of 25, the major change that I see here is that I think Cristiano may have had upper and lower jaw implants.”

“It’s likely that there was a malar cheek implant placed as well as a gonial angle implant it looks to me like he’s had a filling in of his medial cheek volume deficit now could he have had filler instead? Sure that’s always an alternative option for filling in the cheek area but it looks to me like the appearance of the cheeks looks about consistent throughout the years to come so I think that it’s possible that he may have had an implant.”

“Also when you follow the ramus of his mandible down through towards the body of the mandible what you will notice here is a contour change it looks to me like there is a lateral bowing of the area,” he added.

Further suggesting that Ronaldo’s facial surgeries may have occurred at the same time as his big-money move to Real Madrid in 2009, Linkov adds, “Ronaldo actually signed for Real Madrid in a transfer worth 94 million euros so could these potential procedures have corresponded with his growing popularity and worldwide fame around that time?”

Linkov says that he doesn’t see many changes in Ronaldo’s look between 2009 and 2013. However, in 2014, when Ronaldo turned 29, Linkov said that CR7 might have got Botox. As Linkov suggests, “At the age of 29 it looks like Cristiano may have started on a botox to the forehead, the glabella, and the crow’s feet and that he now has smoother skin to pair with his effective skincare routine.”

In the examination of Ronaldo’s face between the ages of 30 in 2015 and age 37 in 2022, Linkov says there are no changes, where he adds, “In 2015 at the age of 30 I’m not seeing any change and that is the same all the way through to 2022.”

But if Ronaldo underwent plastic surgery multiple times since his youth, what could be the total cost?

Cristiano Ronaldo’s probable plastic surgery cost

As per Linkov’s cost assessment of Ronaldo’s probable procedures, the plastic surgeon suggests that his smile makeover would have cost $50,000, his botox at another $50,000, his cheek implant at $20,000, and his mandibular implant at $20,000.

So the total cost of Ronaldo’s suspected plastic surgery makeover is $140,000.

These figures may of course vary, but Linkov estimates that $140,000 is the approximate cost of all of Ronaldo’s probable plastic surgery procedures and enhancements.

However, this is entirely speculation albeit from an expert on plastic surgery in Dr. Linkov. Sure, from his professional perspective, CR7 does appear to have had some work on his face done, but it is not 100% accurate.

Ronaldo has also not mentioned going under the knife and neither has it been reported in the media, so this is a purely speculative assessment. While Ronaldo still looks very young despite being 38 currently, whether he has or has not undergone plastic surgery procedures and several enhancements remains unknown.
