With the player transforming the face of Middle Eastern soccer following his arrival in Saudi Arabia, SPL side Al Nassr took to their social media account to share a classy tribute for the skipper, with Ronaldo completing his first year at the club.

Cristiano Ronaldo found a fresh restart in his career following his arrival at Al Nassr after a lackluster spell with Manchester United. While many believed the player was just here for the big payday, the Al Nassr skipper has proved everyone wrong with sensational performances, one after another, to emerge as the top scorer in 2023.

Saudi side Al Nassr has emerged as one of the top sides in the world following Ronaldo’s signing in 2022. The player has completely transformed the side as the team is now in prime contention for the Saudi Pro League title. Cristiano completed a year at Al Nassr tonight after he signed a record $500 million deal with the side in 2022.

Al Nassr, in their message for Cristiano, stated, “He didn’t come just to play! Rather, he came to write history 💛 Today we complete a year. On the arrival of Al-Nasr captain Cristiano Ronaldo 👑 To Saudi Arabia.”

The player has become the centerpiece of Luis Castro’s plans, with the team signing multiple big names like Sadio Mane and Marcelo Brozovic in the summer of 2023 to build a team around their skipper. Cristiano has led the charge from the front for his team, bagging 20 goals to his name to emerge as the frontrunner for the Golden Boot award ahead of Al Hilal’s Aleksandar Mitrović.
