The former center-back added, “When Sir Alex Ferguson left the club, there definitely was a drop but at the same time David Gill was a key part of that as well and he went at the same time.Ever since Alex Ferguson and David Gill set foot in Manchester United, they began to call it a family and demanded absolute loyalty from the players, which helped in the tremendous growth of the club.

Ferguson became a part of Manchester United back in 1986, and he quickly began to bring fortunes to the club. His major goal was to bring a winning mentality, a commitment to attacking, and an unwavering work ethic.
