Gomez used to be a fine striker back in the day in America. He played soccer during a time when Americans didn’t really know what it was. After calling time on his career that he spent largely in America and Mexico, he joined ESPN as a soccer pundit in 2017. Due to his experiences of playing in America, Gomez will seemingly be very well-versed in the sport.
